I'm asked why I describe the religion of 1.5 billion Muslims [and growing] as barbaric and mired in the 7th Century AD.

It has nothing to do with the Mohammed cartoons. There is nothing wrong with being upset at a perceived slight. It is how they want to resolve or punish those who insult them: by death to the blasphemers and fatwahs of destruction for the culture that spawned them.

According to Muslim Law, if a woman accuses a man of rape, and the court cannot find enough evidence (4 male or 8 female witnesses are required) then the woman is imprisoned or killed for having illicit sex.

We all recall the case of Atefeh Rajabi who was executed for having a brazen tongue.

If a man is dishonored by the fact that his wife committed adultery, he can kill her and all his daughters (to prevent them from doing likewise) and the Islamic Courts are likely to allow it under the banner of honor killings. Indeed, in most Islamic countries the people are so poor that the only thing they have is "honor" .

Mohammed had a 9 year old bride, so it is not surprising that Islam teaches this on sex with infants:

If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's sister."

"If one commits an act of sodomy with a cow, a ewe, or a camel, their urine and their excrements become impure, and even their milk may no longer be consumed. The animal must then be killed as quickly as possible and burned, and the price of it paid to its owner by him who sodomized it."

However, the punishment only applies to males. In most Muslim countries a woman must be executed for fornicating with any animal, even if it's a pet.

But don't think males can get away with anything: sex with a male animal is a no-no depending on whether there was anal penetration or not.

I tried to troll for the Sharia position on transsexuals and my conclusion is that your typical Abu-Salami can have sex with Asian she-males as long as there is no anal penetration.

[Update - 24 Feb 2006] Interestingly, I searched for burka-clad she-males by googling "Muslim ladyboy slaves" and the top reference that comes back is a link to this very article of mine you are reading now. It seems that Muslims have contributed nothing to western civilization since the time they allege they invented zero (by way of the Hindus). They live among us but give back nothing - not even one decent Muslim porn site.

Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat
A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.
