An Islamic militia leader whose forces control the capital called for a holy war Friday against Ethiopian troops protecting Somalia's weak U.N.-backed government.

Syed Haris Ahmed, 21, born in Pakistan and a student at Georgia Tech, was arrested in March. Wednesday's charges superseded an earlier indictment against him, adding three counts of material support of terrorism and a foreign terrorist organization.

Mahamasilorudi Wahni, 40, was shot four times, once in the neck and three times in the body, by gunmen on a motorcycle in Kapho district, police said. The victim died later in hospital.

The expeditionary force, dubbed by the Iranian regime as "Loyalists of Islamic Justice," will be the first ever to be sent to Lebanon. According to the report, the force is compiled of seekers of the Shahadah (death for the sake of heaven), who are set to depart from Tehran after the noontime prayer on Wednesday.

Interestingly, Prince Hassan of Jordan had premonitions of a War breaking out in Lebanon two years ago (26 March, 2004). Speaking to BBC's Radio Four he said

he fears a third world war is erupting in the Middle East.

Extremist voices in the region were rising, and not only individuals but states were taking the law into their own hands, the prince said.

He was speaking after a week in which Israel assassinated the spritual leader of Palestinian militant group Hamas, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

The prince said he feared the violence currently marking Israeli-Palestinian relations would spread to other countries in the region. It is such a hotch-potch at the present time that I'm afraid the making of a third world war are actually taking place in front of our very eyes.

"I'm afraid we'll see spillover into hostilities with Lebanon; already Hezbollah is bombing in the north," Prince Hassan said. "A spillover into hostilities with Syria... and of course Iran is still very much on the axis of evil."

I could of course fill 1000 pages of this post without exhausting details of Islamic brutality and barbarism for the past year alone. But there will continue to be defeatist cowards like Murtha and other leftist appeasers who so hate George Bush that they will remain blinded to the obvious World War we have been fighting since 9/11.

Were there Germans living in the US who sympathized with the Nazis? No doubt. Are there Muslims living in the US who sympathize with our enemies? Obviously, they brazenly walk with posters in the streets of American cities. Why do we let them? Perhaps this will explain in part:

WHAT if liberal democracies have now evolved to a point where they can no longer wage war effectively because they have achieved a level of humanitarian concern for others that dwarfs any really cold-eyed pursuit of their own national interests?

What if the universalist idea of liberal democracy - the idea that all people are created equal - has sunk in so deeply that we no longer assign special value to the lives and interests of our own people as opposed to those in other countries?

What if this triumph of universalism is demonstrated by the Left’s insistence that American and Israeli military actions marked by an extraordinary concern for preventing civilian casualties are in fact unacceptably brutal? And is also apparent in the Right’s claim that a war against a country has nothing to do with the people but only with that country’s leaders?

Can any war be won when this is the nature of the discussion in the countries fighting the war? Can any war be won when one of the combatants voluntarily limits itself in this manner?

Opinion Journal - White Guilt and the Western Past, Excerpt:

There is something rather odd in the way America has come to fight its wars since World War II.

For one thing, it is now unimaginable that we would use anything approaching the full measure of our military power (the nuclear option aside) in the wars we fight. And this seems only reasonable given the relative weakness of our Third World enemies in Vietnam and in the Middle East. But the fact is that we lost in Vietnam, and today, despite our vast power, we are only slogging along--if admirably--in Iraq against a hit-and-run insurgency that cannot stop us even as we seem unable to stop it. Yet no one--including, very likely, the insurgents themselves--believes that America lacks the raw power to defeat this insurgency if it wants to. So clearly it is America that determines the scale of this war. It is America, in fact, that fights so as to make a little room for an insurgency.

I have written before that Europe's leftists, like our own, are enemies of the Western World. Here, beyond belief, we read that the BBC Justifies the Terrorist Attack Inside Israel.

So here we are today. We have cowards in Congress who continue to blind themselves to the realities of the world and then we have the problem that even if they wiped the crap off their eyes and saw the present danger we would still be "too nice" to wage war properly. We ask our enemy to observe the Geneva Conventions even though we know absolutely that they will not. I think it is time to take the gloves off. We can do this first by leaving Israel alone. Let them cauterize the filthy infestation of Muslims in Southern Lebanon. Then perhaps give them their head to take care of Iran's Nuclear ambitions.

Anyone familiar with Skinner Boxes knows that one method of keeping a dog from ever entering an area forbidden to him is to give him not a mild shock, not an extreme shock, not a strong shock, but to give such an overwhelming, devastating, horrific shock that the dog will endure a punishment ten times worse rather than enter the area again.

Remember, the Iranians were emboldened to spread their revolution precisely because we had a Murtha-type coward as President of our country in 1979. I can no longer mention his name, so great is my shame that he was the head of our great nation. And no, it's no coincidence that he has the same initials as Joe Clueless.

We need to bitch slap Syria and Iran so hard that Muslims throughout the world will think ten thousand times before even considering raising their voice let alone their arms against us.
