OTA - Why I believe in re-incarnation
A friend emailed me this photo* proof of a reincarnated Mother Theresa seen here ministering to a patient.
Princess Di and Mother Theresa are in Heaven, when Mother Theresa notices that Princess Di has a bigger halo than she does.
She asks God, "Why does Princess Di have a bigger halo than me? She was a great person but I worked with the poor and diseased of Calcutta all my life".
God replies, "Shhh, that's not a halo, it's a steering wheel".
* Photo is not reutered but may have been Hezbollahed [staged]. Click on photo to see soul of Mother Theresa.
If that wasn't irreverent enough, Christopher Hitchens had this to say in Mommie Dearest - The pope beatifies Mother Teresa, a fanatic, a fundamentalist, and a fraud, Excerpt: I think it was Macaulay who said that the Roman Catholic Church deserved great credit for, and owed its longevity to, its ability to handle and contain fanaticism. This rather oblique compliment belongs to a more serious age. What is so striking about the "beatification" of the woman who styled herself "Mother" Teresa is the abject surrender, on the part of the church, to the forces of showbiz, superstition, and populism.
On Tuesdays I host Open Trackback parties. This allows bloggers who have interesting posts to share them with my readers and therefore, presumably, a wider audience. My normal rules for linking, Bernie's 8 Rules, are suspended. That is, there is no set topic and as long as the post is not a splog entry, you can link whatever you like especially if it is offensive to Islam. Nothing linked here indicates that I either agree with or support or even like the opinions being expressed. But these bloggers generously host some of my insane, disgusting writings and I hope to repay them with this courtesy.
What is this?
Please send a trackback to this post, but don’t forget to link it. For other bloggers participating, visit linkfest haven to see other linkfests.
If you have any problem pinging this post then use this Trackback URL for this entry: http://haloscan.com/tb/bernieg1/115153458564218337 and I will manually copy your tb into the body of this post sometime during the day, so don't worry if you don't see your trackback right away.
I encourage my regular visitors to click on trackbacks and give these bloggers a read.

- Not bad. I've seen her speak in person and seen interviews with her to know that she had enough of a sense of humor, and awareness of her own wrinkled homeliness, that she could laugh at the doggie. The teddy bear? Not so much. For Hitchens, one of the most conceited Brit socialists around (and that's saying a LOT), but who has at least the war on terror correct (and isn't even much of a 'Brit socialist' anymore except in his religous anti-religion), I can only point out that "Mother" was her title as the head of her religious order--not a showbiz claim. Duh.
- Quite right about Hitchens; he's dead on target in the War on Terror.
- I am going to try again to trackback here....(smiling) Here goes...
