A Keyboard and a .45 suggests that we look up the definition of "sexual harassment":

"Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitutes sexual harassment when submission to or rejection of this conduct explicitly or implicitly affects an individual's employment, unreasonably interferes with an individual's work performance or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment."

Someone is going to have to explain to me how a 4-year old could possibly meet any of these requirements to be considered a sexual harasser.

Then this [ Dec 20, 2006]: A 5-Year-Old Is Accused Of Pinching Buttocks, Excerpt:

A Hagerstown father says his five-year-old son knows nothing about sex, but the boy was written up for sexually harassing a kindergarten classmate.

Washington County school officials told Charles Vallance that his son pinched a girl's buttocks earlier this month in a hallway at Lincolnshire Elementary School. The school says that meets the state's definition of sexual harassment. Vallance says his son was only playing around and had no sexual intent.

Has this country gone completely mad? Are these children going to have "sexual offender" on their permanent records simply for playing as children? How did these adult idiots come to control schools? We have taken sexual harassment and carried it beyond extreme, we have carried it into the Twilight Zone. Perhaps it is time to do away with the notion. We already have laws protecting children and adults from unwanted sexual aggression. If we are not careful, kindergartners kissing their teachers and fellow students goodbye for the summer will be liable to arrest for sexual advances.

In Maryland, 28 kindergarten students were suspended during the 2005-06 school year for sex offenses, including sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual activity, according to state data. Fifteen of the suspensions were for sexual harassment.

Is that really possible, that in one state there are 28 sexual offenders in kindergarten!!! Unless they allow students that are over 18 years old into kindergarten, I highly doubt that there was any sexual offenses at all.

This is Not my Home, Excerpt:

I ask him how everything is and he tells me about the new rules. He explains that two children were suspended a month ago for kissing on the playground. My jaw drops in shock and he sees me and shakes his head.

'It's really sad what's happening...' He says. 'People are so afraid, these days.'

I tell him about my kindergarten and how there was a little boy and his name was Michael and we used to kiss under the slide. It was the beginning of boys and flirting and tingles and I wouldn't have traded my naive childish excitement for anything. Not even an ice cream cone on a summer day.

Please, please, a little perspective. There is nothing wrong with children being children. For ten thousand years of recorded history young children have been showing their peepies to each other without the world coming to an end. Now we are so sensitive to any touching that normal behaviour becomes a candidate for a perversion intervention. Leave the children alone, for God's sake. We are destroying childhood and making these children into frustrated deviants. As proof, I offer the perverts who now pose as school administrators.
