Obama and Nigerian Frauds

Obama's campaign has raised more money than any candidate in history. We're not surprised at the usual suspects such as Code Pink which obviously will raise money for any anti-American candidate and who willingly disrupt Republican gatherings, but what is startling is that Exxon Execs Gave More Money to Obama than McCain.

Wow, after all the bad things that Obama has said about the oil industry and the threat of imposing a windfall profits tax one would think that Exxon would want nothing to do with Obama. Unless they have been told that he can be bribed? Perhaps Obama has learned that the best way to raise money is by extortion: he has threatened to destroy so much of American business that perhaps it's not surprising that he has raised so much blood money.

Wall Street and much of New York's economy would be devastated by a 28% capital gains tax which Obama was pushing at first; now it seems he's backed off to 20% - did Wall Street bankers contribute substantial sums to Obama? If Obama backpedals even more on his extortion threats tax increase proposals we'll know that kickbacks payoffs contributions from certain people were made.

I guess it would be too much to hope for that Obama would send the money back to Exxon saying he doesn't want any blood for oil on his hands.

As I said, it's not surprising that Code Pink, which hates this country, raises money for Obama - that's a given. But what about all the millions of Democrats - they can't all be anti-American - why would they be giving money to a person who is barely qualified to run a Harlem barbershop? Can they all be that stupid? Do they really want a closet communist whose friends and spiritual mentors are anti-American terrorists and Jew-hating demagogues to be President of this country? Can they all be that naive or blind?

Well, now comes the answer:

BBC News, 1 Sep 2008, Nigeria seizes money 'for Obama'

Nigerian anti-graft investigators have seized money raised by the head of the Nigerian Stock Exchange to support US presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it would give the money back to those who attended a gala dinner in Lagos last month.

The EFCC said it had seized 74m naira ($630,000, £314,000), but said no Nigerian laws had been broken.

US political parties are not allowed to receive contributions from abroad.

That's right; the same feeble-minded, gullible dupes that fall for the Nigerian 419 Fraud scams are the same people sending money to the Obama campaign. What do they hope to get back? Well in the case of the Nigerian 419 scam they hope to gain rewards far in excess of the thousands they deposit in some Nigerian bank. In the case of Obama, they probably hope to get government handouts far in excess of what they contribute to his campaign such as "free" health care, as if there is such a thing.

So whether you donate to some Nigerian bank account or Obama's campaign - expect very little in actual payback; they are both frauds.

If you've fallen victim to a Nigerian 419 scam follow the information at the Secret Service. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do - merely kiss your money goodbye. If you've fallen victim to the Obama Scam there is a possibility that if you ask for it you might get it back. If Obama gets elected you will lose more than you donated, sorry.

You may wonder if there is a website devoted to Fighting the Nigerian Scam with Education; there is, visit The 419 Coalition Website.

And if you are wondering if there is a website that exposes the Obama scam, there is - you are reading it now.
