Boobs Caused Taiwan Tremors from Planck's Constant

The idea that God punishes mankind for specific reasons started in the Near East with the flood stories. A thousand years before Genesis was written, the Babylonians told of how the gods made a great flood to cover the Earth because of human overpopulation. But the god Enki had the Sumerian King Atra-Hasis build an ark to house his family, cattle, wild animals and birds. The exact same story, with minor details changed, is found in Assyrian, Sumerian, Egyptian, Chaldean, Persian, and Zoroastrian deluge myths.

In the Hebrew version, except for Noah's family, God destroys mankind for their wickedness. And so it continues today. We certainly have no shortage of wackos who believe God punishes a specific group or country for a given immorality or depravity. Take the white-hater moron Louis Farrakhan who asserted that Hurricane Katrina was "God's way of punishing America for its warmongering and racism" ¹.

Another asshole is the Rev. Jerry Falwell who suggested that the terrorist attacks on 9/11 were a chastisement from God because of our wickedness ².

As for idiot Jews, one has only to consider former Israeli chief Sephardic rabbi, Mordecai Eliyahu, who claimed that the Holocaust was God's punishment because of Reform Judaism ³.

So I am not surprised to read that Hojjat ol-eslam Kazem Sediqi, an Iranian cleric, recently declared that women who wear revealing clothing and behave promiscuously are to blame for earthquakes ⁴.

Sadly, the imam never read my article Earthquake detector that explains that naked breasts, instead of being evil things, can save lives when employed as an early warning system for earth tremors, see photo (warning NSFW).

Another epic FAIL occurred yesterday when Purdue University student Jen McCreight started Boobquake, a day when as many women as possible show their cleavage, dress scantily, and hope no earthquakes occur thus disproving the Iranian cleric’s assertion that scantily clad women cause earthquakes ⁵. Within hours of posting her photo, Taiwan registered a 6.5 magnitude earthquake.

Hmmmm...Girls show cleavage...Earth trembles...Perhaps the imam is on the right track.

Hojjat ol-eslam Kazem Sediqi, the acting Friday prayer leader in Tehran, said women should stick to strict codes of modesty to protect themselves.
"Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes," he explained.

Tens of thousands of people have died in Iran earthquakes in the last decade.

Mr Sediqi was delivering a televised sermon at the Tehran University campus mosque last Friday on the need for a "general repentance" by Iranians when he warned of a "prevalence of degeneracy".

"What can we do to avoid being buried under the rubble? There is no other solution but to take refuge in religion and to adapt our lives to Islam's moral codes," he said.
