In response to my article may allah guide u to the straight path, reader Rasha from Dubai makes the following astonishing assertion: "... when you look at non- Muslims who become Muslims they are mainly intellectuals and people of very high and solid academic and socio-economic background who choose to be Muslims; in spite of the terrible problems they face for converting to Islam in the contemporary time."

This is typical of Muslims who are taught that Muslims are superior to all people on this Earth when the facts are that Muslims are "the poorest, the most illiterate, the most backward, the most unhealthy, the most un-enlightened, the most deprived, and the weakest of all the human race." -- former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

According to a recent, albeit small, study of conversion to Islam in the United States ¹, Islam is actually more attractive to those with less education.

75% of the approximate 20,000 Americans who convert to Islam each year are women ². Most convert to Islam because their Muslim husbands and boyfriends make them convert although they will deny that there was any pressure involved. Despite the fact that Muslim women are treated like crap by Muslim men, see my articles on Muslim sexual harassment, they will insist that they converted because of some fictional ideals they were told about how Islam gave women rights they never had before.

This is no different than battered woman syndrome where we see Muslim women deny that they are treated like cattle, see my article Muslim Women Slaves in Denial. Let's face facts, any woman who converts to Islam knowing the facts about how women are treated in Islam is an idiot. Any woman who converts to Islam without knowing the facts is simply ignorant. Thus only two possibilities: Any woman who converts to Islam is either an idiot or an ignorant fool.

Almost everywhere in the world, where Muslims live in dar al-Harb (non-Muslim states), Muslims tend to be less educated than the host country citizens. For example, Indian Muslims are poorer and less educated compared to their Hindu counterparts [Wiki].

Most of us have read about idiot savants, people who can multiply two ten-digit numbers together in a second, but are intellectual morons. This explains why seemingly intelligent people convert to Islam.
