Why do so many Muslim men viciously brutalize their wives, their sisters, or their daughters? How does one explain the widespread practice among Muslims of female genital mutilation, honor killings, forced marriages, slavery, acid-in-face, and other savage acts.

Allow me to make the following stipulation: female genital mutilation, honor killings, forced marriages, slavery, acid-in-face, and other savage acts predate Islam and certainly Islam did not invent them.

However:

Although the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) predates Islam, it is in Muslim countries and in Muslim communities where the practice still continues.

Although the practice of Honor Killings predates Islam, it is in Muslim countries and in Muslim communities where the practice still continues.

Although the practice of slavery predates Islam, it is in Muslim countries and in Muslim communities where the practice still continues.

And similarly for the other barbaric and misogynistic attacks against women.

But today, in the modern world, they cannot be blamed on ancient cultural practices. Yes, it is true that these same attacks are done among various cultures in Afghanistan, Iran, Arabia, Indonesia, Africa, and other places. But if Islam were truly a religion that exalted women, then among the Muslims in Afghanistan, Iran, Arabia, etc., there should be no such attacks.

Muslims take their religion seriously. They pay attention to thousands of details on how to conduct their political, economic, social, cultural, and daily way of life. There are questions to Imams on the Internet regarding every facet of life; for example and this is not a joke: should one restart prayers if one farts? Islam guides the faithful from the cradle to the grave.

So I have to ask, in all that paying attention to washing, praying, walking, sitting, sleeping, eating, and emulating the Prophet (SFB) , why is it that they are vicious savages toward their womenfolk? It has to be that they are indeed following the exact precepts of their religion.

Muslims in strict Sharia nations attack and kill other Muslims who play sports, watch movies, buy indecent magazines, become Christians or otherwise disobey the commands in the Quran; so why do they not attack and kill Muslims who treat women like dogs?

Although you would think that in the passing of time, things would get better for Muslim women; however you'd be wrong:

Man is a piece of gold, woman is a piece of silk - if you throw a piece of gold in the mud, you can wipe it clean; but if you throw a piece of silk in the mud it is stained forever.

But you may protest, surely these primitive, backward, barbaric, savage, brutal activities are not done in civilized countries such as in Europe or the UK where it is illegal? Protest all you want, not only are they still practiced, they flourish and are encouraged.

Here's the problem: no border control would allow a person with obvious symptoms of bubonic plague to enter the country and infect the rest of the populace. Why do we allow people who have these primitive diseases of culture to enter our country? Shouldn't we determine whether or not they are devout Muslims before allowing them to infest our culture? Shouldn't those who come into our part of the world at least be civilized peoples?
