The Arab Fishing in The Arabian Desert
The Internet can be a powerful learning tool, but sometimes it may teach us the wrong lesson. As example, let me tell you the story of Ahmed Bin Ahmed al-Ahmad Ben Muhad, or to keep the story short I will simply call him Ahmed.
Ahmed, being a typical unemployed citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spent much of his time in Internet Cafes where one day he discovered that a vast ocean once covered the sands that today sweep the deserts of Saudi Arabia.Armed with this knowledge Ahmed proceeded to purchase a small boat and took himself on a journey to the plumb middle of the Arabian Peninsula's central desert. Once there, he anchored his boat in the sand, cast out a line and began fishing.
Another Arab, mounted on a camel, passes by and sees Ahmed in his boat fishing. Angry, he reined in his beast, dismounted and began yelling, "It's idiots like you that give us Arabs a bad name! And if I could swim, I would come out there..."
This joke, originally a blonde joke, was inspired by the following film:
Camara Oscura, 3 Mar 2012, Ewan McGregor & Emily Blunt ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’ Pics Released!
