Those Pesky Jews Invite Ahmadinejad to Germany
Farooq tells me that that oldest Islamic organization in Germany, the Islam-Archiv Deutschland Central Institute is just a front for those pesky holocaust Jews.
"What do you mean?" I ask him.
He looks at me as if a camel just farted: "The Institute criticized Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a few days ago for denying the existence of the Holocaust, and now they invite him to visit Germany."
"What wrong with that?"
Farooq pokes his finger just under his right eye, "Only an unbeliever would question a fellow Muslim on the holocaust and certainly only the hated, clever Jew would hatch a plan to have him jailed once he gets here."
"I don't get it."
"Take the goat-cheese out of your ears and listen. The Jews pretend they are Muslim, get him to visit Auschwitz and when Ahmadinejad persists in his denial they'll have him arrested for denying the holocaust on German soil."
"I suspect he has diplomatic immunity."
"Ah - Sharmuta! You have eyes and refuse to listen."
"That's not the way the phrase goes."
"Forget that. Listen. You remember the Iran hostage crisis?"
I nodded.
"That was a violation of diplomatic immunity. Germany is no longer bound to honor it in the reciprocal."
I laughed, "I think you have your turban wrapped too tight."

Islam-Archiv-Deutschland, founded in 1927 to preserve Germany's Muslim archives and foster relations between Muslims and other religions, invited Ahmadinejad him to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in which over 1 million people were killed by poison gas and then burnt.

I left Farooq to mumble and curse to himself. It must be tough to live life blaming everything on the Jews: The Atomic Bomb, Relativity, Freudian Psychology, Marxism, Hollywood, the Bush administration...
