A Friend in Iraq

Sgt. Michael Wishnia, 2nd from left, a friend of mine who recently came back from Iraq, is not a poor black youth, contrary to Charlie Rangel's frequent assertion: "American blacks and poor whites are dying in Iraq, while those who supported the war aren't paying any price".

Our new military is filled with children of well-to-do parents who cannot wait to go to fight in Iraq. That is why the anti-war movement cannot take off in this country: those who don't want to fight don't have to.

Remember this Democrat-inspired lie?

The Draft Is Coming Back

THE DRAFT IS COMING BACK!

If there are children in your family, READ this. There is pending legislation in the House and Senate (twin bills: S 89 and HR 163) which will time the program's initiation so the draft can begin at early as Spring 2005 -- just after the 2004 presidential election. The administration is quietly trying to get these bills passed now, while the public's attention is on the elections, so our action on this is needed immediately. Details and links follow.

Even those voters who currently support us. Actions abroad may still object to this move, knowing their own children or grandchildren will not have a say about whether to fight. Not that it should make a difference, but this plan, among other things, eliminates higher education as a shelter and includes women in the draft

Also, crossing into Canada has already been made very difficult. Actions, actions, actions: Please send this on to all the parents and teachers you know, and all the aunts and uncles, grandparents, godparents.... And let your children know -- it's their future, and they can be a powerful voice for change!

Please also write to your representatives to ask them why they aren't telling their constituents about these bills -- and write to newspapers and other media outlets to ask them why they're not covering this important story.

The draft $28 million has been added to the 2004 selective service system (sss) budget to prepare for a military draft that could start as early as June 15, 2005. Selective Service must report to Bush on March 31, 2005 that the system, which has lain dormant for decades, is ready for activation. Please see website: http://www.sss.gov/perfplan_fy2004.html to view the sss annual performance plan - fiscal year 2004.

As we all know, these were bills introduced by Democrats solely for the purpose of giving a legislative cite number for liberal idiots who read these things as gospel. They knew there was never any possibility of such bills passing in Congress. And certainly the administration never asked for or wanted a return to the draft. But it made for great scare emails.

By the way, nothing much happened on June 15, 2005, no re-institution of the Draft or anything close. The only noteworthy world event was the return, after an eight year theatrical hiatus, of Batman to theaters in the critically acclaimed Batman Begins [click on image for poster-size].

And now again, just before the midterm elections, we have the Democrats repeating the Kansas City Shuffle by pushing the Foley Scandal as if it were an issue important to the nation. By this distraction, the Democrats are relieved of the necessity to discuss the economy (it's great thank you), terrorism (Islamist plots are being broken daily), their own scandals (too numerous to mention, and pointless, actually), unemployment (almost non-existent), immigration (they have no viable solution), or any other important issue.

It's easy to see why they have consistently lost these past eight years. The only issue they have is: "We hate George Bush! And we oppose everything he does." Not much of a platform.

Here we see a perfect example of addled reasoning by Bush Bashing Blindness Syndrome where we reveal the math deficiencies of liberal idiot Andy Rooney:

Gateway Pundit, For Andy Rooney Iraqi Math Is Like Chinese Algebra

According to Andy we are losing 6-8 soldiers daily in the quagmire.

That would come out to (considering we've been in Iraq over 1,300 days) 7830 to 10,440 dead American soldiers.

He's off by over 250 to 370%.

It would probably help Andy if he would at least have some honesty to back up his Anti-Bush statements. You would think so anyway.

Next Andy Rooney will be saying that Israel killed six million palestinians.

The UK has its own Bushing Bashing Blindness similar to the New York Times, which lying sacks of sh*t so hate Bush they tip the terrorists of secret American programs: Smooth Stone - We Are Biased, Admit the Stars of BBC News, Excerpt:... the BBC's "diversity tsar" wants Muslim women newsreaders to be allowed to wear veils on the air. At the secret meeting in London last month, BBC executives admitted the corporation deliberately promotes multiculturalism, is anti-American, and is more sensitive to the feelings of Muslims than Christians.

President Bush stating that al Qaeda's goals are a World Caliphate seems to drive liberal idiots nuts:

The Right Truth, [Now defunct], How to satisfy the terrorists

In a Newsweek article, "Caliwho?" written by Lisa Miller And Matthew Philips, they ask 'why President Bush has raised the issue of an Islamic Caliphate' and called it a "fifty-cent word". These two writers obviously do not GET the true definition of caliphate.

But all is not bad news: Wake Up America - Good News From Iraq Part #1, Excerpt: Since the left media and the Democratic party seem to only focus on the bad news from Iraq, I am going to dedicate some time to the good news in Iraq. Didn't think there was any? WRONG. There is and plenty of it.
