My Condolences to Osama Bin Laden

Dear Osama,

I know how it must feel to lose a child (1), even if you have 25 others. But you have to look on the bright side: you're still alive and there are still dozens of little Bin Ladens running around.

I'm sure you are relieved that he didn't linger. You must feel as horrible over your loss as I felt over the 2996 lives lost on 9/11. I'm sure that you constantly worry that your boys might be captured by American forces and forced to suffer the humiliation of being prisoners in Gitmo where they have to endure savage and brutal tortures such as sleep deprivation and loud scolding. That would have been unbearable.

So in this regard, I hope none of your sons have to suffer needlessly. I want you to know that from the very depths of my heart, I wish that every single one of your children never see it coming.

Your friend,

I know there will be liberals who will whine, "Oh now we're in for it. Osama will really be angry with us."

Yeah, right, Osama was ready to forgive and forget when we up and killed Saad, how sad.

Regarding Saad baby photo: OK I'm joking.

NPR, Bin Laden Son Reported Killed In Pakistan

U.S. officials believe Saad bin Laden — a son of Osama bin Laden — has been killed by an American missile in Pakistan.

Saad bin Laden reportedly spent years under house arrest in Iran before traveling last year to Pakistan, according to former National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell.

It's believed he was killed by Hellfire missiles fired from a U.S. Predator drone sometime this year.

A senior U.S. counterterrorism official tells NPR that without a body to conduct DNA tests on, it's hard to be completely sure. But he characterized U.S. spy agencies as being "80 to 85 percent" certain that Saad bin Laden is dead.

The U.S. counterterrorism official says Saad bin Laden wasn't important enough to target personally — that he was "in the wrong place at the wrong time."
