Last month (June 13) Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and four other Republican Congressmen sent letters to the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State asking for answers about the U.S. government’s involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood, a group that calls for outright jihad against the United States (1).
Included in the letters is a claim that Huma Abedin, a long-time aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has three family members connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Instead of being praised for showing concern for the safety of our nation, they were criticized by useful idiot John McCain:
seattlepi.com, Bachmann: Anti-Muslim attacks hit House colleague
“Ultimately, what is at stake in this matter is larger even than the reputation of one person. This is about who we are as a nation, and who we aspire to be. What makes America exceptional among the countries of the world is that we are bound together as citizens not by blood or class, and not by sect or ethnicity, but by a set of enduring, universal and equal rights that are the foundations of our Constitution, our laws, our citizenry and our identity.
“When anyone, not least a member of Congress, launches specious and degrading attacks against fellow Americans on the basis of nothing more than fear of who they are and ignorance of what they stand for, it defames the spirit of our nation, and we all grow poorer because of it.”
Actually it is Senator McCain who is ignorant of what Muslims stand for. To a devout Muslim, our man-made laws are not to be respected if they contradict the Shariah, the Law of Allah. Our enduring, universal and equal rights that are the foundations of our Constitution are anathema to Islamic thinking.
McCain last week displayed the same ignorance and tolerance of Islam that Chamberlain did for the Nazis in the 1930s. That ignorance and tolerance of an ideology bent on world domination cost tens of millions of lives.
McCain's ignorance and tolerance of an ideology bent on world domination will one day cost hundreds of millions of lives.
There is nothing wrong with making sure the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't keep its promise to infiltrate our government and destroy our way of life from within.
Congressman Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, asked Bachmann for proof that Muslim extremists have infiltrated our government; read her response here (PDF).
