what we need is for federal and state laws changed so that Muslim parents who continues to practice barbaric cultural or religious traditions lose custody of their children. They are in America now; certainly we would never today allow Aztecs to practice the sacrifice of virgins as they did centuries ago in order to be sensitive to their religious traditions. Why should we allow Muslims to be barbaric in our own country?
Most African countries have practiced FGM for thousands of years, before the Islamization of the continent, so it may seem odd to blame Muslims for continuing the practice rather than the underlying culture. However, one wonders why Muslims didn't ban the practice, after all, one of the main hypes about Islam is how it liberated women from primitive practices.
Some of my readers who have perused The List of Things That Offend Muslims will have noted that there are more than 500 things that offend Muslims. Some Muslim apologists will object that there are many, many things that do not offend Muslims. Well, to be fair, that's true. So allow me to list those things that do not seem to offend Muslims:
There are Muslims of every nationality: Egyptian, Indonesian, British; of every race: Negro, Asian, Caucasian; members of many cultures and inhabiting every continent on this planet. Eventually of course, there will only be Muslims in this world, but that's not important at the moment. The topic today is that Muslim diversity makes it impossible for someone to blame Muslims for any of their barbaric practices.
