In my article Mental Patients Must Not Be Allowed to Have Kids, I noted that having octuplets costs more than a few million dollars or more than $400,000 per baby. That got me to thinking that Japan can supply lifelike robot children for a lot less money.
If you have 6 children already and you seek fertility treatments to have more children then you should be certified as mentally ill. And mentally ill people should not be allowed to have children. I know, if you are a Libertarian, as I am, your first reaction will be that the government should not stick its nose into matters such as the woman who had 8 babies, but when the framers of our Constitution were considering our Bill of Rights they were not envisioning a society where reckless individuals could rack up medical bills in the millions of dollars which would have to be paid for by other citizens.
If you ride through the city today you will see purple ribbons decked out all over the place. Bayonne is one of the safest cities in the country so when something horrific does happen it hits the front page of our local paper.
The real solution is having these women rendered sterile. Certainly no one objects to putting carriers of deadly viruses in quarantine, why not vaccinate these women so they cannot carry their deadly infections (babies) into society.
