In a recent chat on a local bulletin board with J.C., a fellow Bayonne citizen, we were discussing the pros and cons of wax candles when he sadly reflected upon the removal of wax candles years ago in Bayonne churches and the switch to electronic ones. He hasn't lit a prayer candle since the change. "Its stupid. Whats spiritual about turning on a light bulb?" he opined.

Yes, it's true, perfume sprays can kill you.
Of course, millions of people use fragrance sprays without dying, but actually death is just the canary in the mine. Hundreds of millions who use perfumed sprays, deoderants, room fresheners, candles, and other stink-pots end up with asthma which now affects 1 in 4 urban children

If it said "Made in Japan" it was junk.
Buses were a nickel and you could pay in pennies.
People picked up pennies in the street.
All the dimes and quarters in your pocket were 90% silver.

If you find your pet's breathing is stertorous then look at scented candles, scented cleaning compounds, or other "air fresheners" as the culprit.

There is nothing more insidious than candles. Excluding Islamic immigrants, of course. Candle usage in the United States has skyrocketed over the last 20 years and candle manufacturing is now a $2 billion industry.
