Keep Your Pants on: diet drug has unhappy ending
By Bernie on 25 Jan 2006
I think any drug whose main feature is loss of bowel control will certainly make you lose weight. Now when someone tells you they lost 100 pounds in 3 months, they're not shitting you, they're shitting themselves.
Diet drugs will always get you in the end.
Prescription weight-loss drug Xenical recently won endorsement by the FDA to be sold over the counter, but don't run to the store just yet. The drug, which will be rechristened Alli, has a few drawbacks, like flatulence and loss of bowel control.
They also will give out clothing recommendations to cope with the potential bowel control problem.
Caveats: The weight gain will begin anew once someone stops using it, so this is a take-it-forever pill. Also, some have reported severe reactions so get a second opinion and be careful taking any drug although my strong recommendation is to avoid drugs altogether, eat moderately, and exercise. In fact, the last item that I mention is what you are supposed to do with this pill anyway. But if you can do that, then why bother with the pill? If you make the will - you don't need the pill. Hey, sounds like Johnny Cochran, Jr.
Perhaps now would be a good time to buy stock in Depend
