The MedicAlert E-HealthKEY
By Bernie on 20 Jan 2006
The key easily connects to any computer with a USB port with virtually unlimited space to store X-rays, MRIs, EKGs, and more. When plugged into a strange computer it assumes you are at a hospital or ambulance and brings up only the critical medical information such as conditions, medications and allergies that you have previously authorized.
The USB-flash thumb drive pictured above, can easily be attached to your key chain, backpack, purse, or elsewhere for easy accessibility.
It's especially useful if you have multiple health issues but I certainly think that even with limited health problems this would be a good thing to have. There can always be situations where you may be unconscious or unable to give even simple answers regarding allergies or known medical problems.
