Spreading the Will Of Allah - the UNC-Chapel Hill Attack
HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. -- A suspect who is accused of hitting students with a sport utility vehicle at the University of North Carolina made his first court appearance Monday.
Mohammed Taheri-azar, a 2005 UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, smiled and waved before his hearing Monday. Taheri-azar told the courtroom that he was "thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah."
As he left court, Taheri-azar told reporters, "the truth is my lawyer." When asked if he was trying to kill people, he said yes. Video and full story at WRAL News and washingtonpost
The University seems afraid to label the attack as "Terrorist" despite Mohammed Taheri-azar's courtroom statement that he was "thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah."
Our MSM doesn't know the meaning of the word pedestrian. In initial reports ABC News had reported "The driver of an SUV that plowed into a group of pedestrians at UNC-Chapel Hill on Friday..." There were no pedestrians, the area is a pit from from any road with vehicular traffic. Unless there are vehicles on the same road as walkers there can be no "pedestrians".
If our media and institutions of learning cannot use the correct words to describe reality, what kind of world have we become?
