One good thing to come out of the Mohammed cartoon affair was the shock wave that went through Denmark when pictures of the flag-burnings rolled over the TV screens. One thing not to do to the Danes, is burn their flag. Embassies? OK, we can rebuild them, but flag-burning is definitely out...

Time passes, and now is the time where the Scandinavians start thinking about their holidays. Lots of Danes used to go to Egypt, and Morocco, and Turkey, and Tunisia. Not any more. After the cartoon affair and the recent bombing in Egypt, people are cancelling and re-scheduling their holidays.

The Danes are not going to put their hard earned money into the hands of flag-burning hooligans and suicidal thugs.
Sales directer Stig Elling from Star Tours, one of the major travel firms says: "...after the cartoon caper and the bombings in several Muslim countries, it is important for us to find holiday destinations where there are no Muslims. We are on the hunt for Muslim-free areas. This partly why we are booking holidays for people on Cap Verde. There are no Muslims there and there is little criminality."

One question does spring to my mind though. Why on earth would anybody want to go to a predominantly Islamic land for a holiday anyway? No booze, no bareness on the beach, no pork, say goodbye to bacon and egg breakfast...

Then a reader of my blog points me to his humor site where he unveils his "Terrorist Detector" (Don't go there if images of naked women disturb you).

But actually, in the great jihad against the infidel, it is perfectly acceptable for devout Muslims to eat pork, drink alcohol and have sex with whores if it deceives the enemy of your true identity and furthers the Islamic cause of one World Caliphate; so I am afraid the "Terrorist Detector" is an amusing distraction, but ineffectual against the threat of Islam.

Indeed, in Holland they recently changed the entrance exam into their country to show prospective immigrants what Dutch culture is really like with photos of homosexuals kissing and pictures of naked women. Obviously it is not meant to keep out terrorists, but to let Muslims know that if they can't stand the culture they should not come and try to change it.

Muslims cannot stand Western culture so is there any hope that the newly minted Islamic democracies in Afghanistan and Iraq will turn out to be models of Western Decency? All things Beautiful points us to a Diana West op-ed piece that questions the efficacy of making these nations safe for Shariah.

The shmoo report rightly sees that the problem is the nature of Islam. These wars will go on until Islam deals with the shortcomings of their violent Shariah Islamic nature.

Islam cannot accept Western culture and mores. Even when they establish "democracies" they do so with the proviso that "No law shall contradict the established provisions of Islam." In other words, if there is a law that is decent, fair, and civilized but contradicts anything in Sharia, then the ancient, barbaric and brutal Islamic law shall prevail instead.

Islam tolerates no other religion. The fake mantra that "Islam is the religion of tolerance" really means they will tolerate you as long as you pay the jizya tax for being a non-Muslim and as long as you do not proselytize or fail to follow their religion in public.

As the world becomes more and more Muslim, it will become increasingly difficult to contain the spread of this insidious religion.

Unfortunately I believe it will take a catastrophic event before the West seriously begins to eliminate the growing threat of Islam. I believe Osama Bin Laden sees this as well and is planning an event to force such a confrontation which he hopes will mobilize over a billion Muslims to fight against the Crusaders.

The only greater enemy we have at present is political correctness. I have no doubt world leaders outside of Islam mutter to themselves, "Why can't I just publicly say what is in my heart and everyone knows to be true: 'Islam is a threat to all mankind'?".
