Video Blogging getting there

By Bernie on 13 May 2006:

We've grown up in a video world. Certainly most of the country still gets most of its news over the tube. Bloggers are now starting to dip their toes into vlogging, e.g. see the latest vlog from Atlas Shrugs who instructs us to read about The Muslim Brotherhood Project and Michelle Malkin's Hot Air Vent supporting the NSA.

Some other vloggers: Steve Garfield, news from rocketboom, and lean back vids, some of which have ended up on Akimbo, a video on demand service which is including vlogs as well as television programs.

Bloggers will have to admit that text does not have the same impact as video. For example, I have posted no less than 30 posts on the Danish Cartoons, but nothing I've written explains the whole affair better than this video from Zipperfish:
[Right Click on Video to control Play]

we can expect vlogging to boom once the search engines figure how to index vlog entries better.
