Read this from the Islamic Terror Organization in America, also known as CAIR, just after a nun was shot in the back, churches were firebombed, and Muslims the world over were calling for the death of the Pope:

"The proper response to the Pope’s inaccurate and divisive remarks is for Muslims and Catholics worldwide to increase dialogue and outreach efforts aimed at building better relations between Christianity and Islam. This unfortunate episode also offers an opportunity for Christians to learn more about Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic concept of jihad.

"Jihad is a central and broad Islamic concept that includes struggle against evil inclinations within oneself, struggle to improve the quality of life in society, struggle in the battlefield for self-defense (e.g. — having a standing army for national defense), or fighting against tyranny or oppression. 'Jihad' should not be translated as 'holy war.'"

Only certified idiots and imbeciles could read the above and think to themselves, "Bush has to be fear-mongering since these Muslims seem to be sincere and tolerant. I say give peace a chance."

And to those who say I weaken my argument by calling my opponents names, I say I am not calling names. If a man works with wood and fabricates chairs and tables, it is no epithet to call him a carpenter for that is what he is. Likewise if a man works with mortar and lays brick, it is no epithet to call him a mason for that is what he is. And if a person carries on a conversation with someone he believes is a leprechaun, or believes that Islam poses no terror threat to the Western World, then it is no epithet to call him an idiot for that is what he is.
