The Internet has certainly changed the way we buy everything today. Even a simple product such as wiper blades can be searched for on fatwallet and wiper blade advice is only a query away on car forums.

If you need visual instruction there are even YouTube videos to show those who are text-impaired how to replace them.

Even emails from friends can sometimes help in making a buying decision. For example, a friend of mine recently obtained a most excellent set of wiper blades for his car. I personally think they might be too big because they hang over the edges a little, but he seems not to mind since they work great and require very little maintenance.

Many drivers find most wipers annoying but I have to say these are the only blades he actually likes to watch working even when it's not raining. Lately he's been driving around nonstop with them on. In fact, he's even been pulled over and the cop asked to go for a ride so he too could watch them work.

They were outrageously expensive, but safety should always be your main concern and they do work great.
