The Right Truth

By Bernie on 27 Feb 2007

This week we take the colors from Right Truth. From time to time, I pick a blogger from my blogroll and, using the colors of that blogger's weblog, find photographic matches for those colors. The first photo in the upper left corner in this mosaic is a small screenshot from the home page of Right Truth.

Mosaic Right Truth

The rest of the images are taken from Flickr, and chosen simply because I love eye candy. Which is why there is always at least one image of a half-clad and nearly naked woman in blogroll mosaics (gratuitous keyword slinging strictly for traffic-whoring).

As I was browsing through random blogs on Blogshares today, I noticed a pattern. A lot of the "dead" blogs either have only one or two posts before they're abandoned, usually a "hello world this is my blog" post and an occasional followup. A lot of the... [Read More]

Okay, so I have TWO videos of the day. So there! I had a list of videos on YouTube with “Nerf Herder” (I was looking for the band of that name) and this video by The Younglings came up. It’s hip-hop in the Star Wars universe. ‘Nuff said. [Read More]

  • Wow, that's great. Thanks for using Right Truth this week. I like the deep reds, almost maroon colors. some folks were complaining about the template once at Right Truth, so tried several others. But I came right back to the deep red, black, and gray. I will put up a link so others can come over and see your artwork. I'll be checking out some of the past mosaics, I think I missed some of them.

  • Carl, my post today got hit with hundreds of spam pings making it impossible for anyone else to get in. But not to worry I always go to technorati and see who linked to me and I manually add those that don't make it automatically. Debbie, that shade of carmine was particularly difficult to get matches for. But I think overall the deep reds, blacks and grays came out rather close to the feel of your front page.
