Theodore Roosevelt criticizes Liberal Idiots

I don't understand why liberals object to being called unpatriotic; after all, they hate everything that America stands for.

Damn it, if you're a traitor, stand tall and announce it proudly.

But no, they want to be able to undermine this country and make it look as if they are merely engaging in a disagreement among reasonable men. So they trot out this quote from Theodore Roosevelt:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." [Quote DB]

They use this to justify calling Bush a Nazi and the greatest terrorist in the world. I agree, it is not unpatriotic to simply disagree with our president. At the same time, one cannot use that as a rationale to give aid and comfort to our enemies. Liberals have dugg this here.

Here is another quote from Theodore Roosevelt they should have been digging:

"The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." [Quote DB]

How about digging THAT, my liberal friends? Peace at any Price? Isn't that the new slogan of the Democratic Party? No, I'm afraid sacrifice and duty are concepts that current Diggers will only bury.
