Pakistan bombing kills at least 50

SHERPAO, Pakistan - Pakistani police raided an Islamic school and arrested seven students Friday, hours after a suicide bomber killed at least 50 people inside a mosque packed with holiday worshippers at the home of the former interior minister.

Suspicion for the blast, which left bloody clothing, shoes and pieces of flesh scattered across the house of worship, focused on the pro-Taliban or al-Qaida militants active near the Afghan border, where the attack occurred.

Interestingly, about the same time as the bombing a reader left a comment to my article Muslim Girl Scarlett Johansson in a Burqa telling me that I don't know much about Islam. He writes that he lives in Karachi, Pakistan and "women aren't beaten up or oppressed like that. Kids aren't kicked in the face at all. Women aren't threatened by the general public; remember, they are threatened by a fringe minority. Most women cover their heads out of their own choice, since they believe that's what Islam requires of them" [I fixed the spelling a bit for my readers' sake - Bernie].

I don't know how many self-contradictions you can spin around in one sentence and still believe your own BS. They wear the veil not because they are threatened but because of choice and even if they are threatened that isn't why they cover up and besides that, those doing the threatening are not the general public, and besides that they do it out of choice because they think it is required by their religion to cover up. So the choice part is that since it is required they choose to comply. Get it?

As I wrote in a previous article Muslim Women Slaves in Denial that Muslims, especially women, cannot bear to see their religion for the barbaric and primitive system that it really is, and thus deny their own eyes to the brutality encountered from their coreligionists. They will point to some fringe group for all the savagery ignoring the fact that the fringe group numbers in the millions and that those not in the fringe group do nothing (out of fear) to control the extremists in their midst.

So go ahead, keep spouting the self-contradictory nonsense such as women wear the veil out of choice and those who do not wear "proper" covering are tortured and killed by some fringe group that has misinterpreted Islam and keep repeating it with conviction that the intimidation and killing of dirty, wanton, uncovered women has nothing to do with their "choice" of what they wear. Yeah, right and the check is in the mail, and Islam is the Religion of Peace.
