Nothing Wrong with what Michelle Obama Said
I do not understand what all the fuss is about. Suppose a Muslim leader said all Jews should die, would this be news to anyone? I'll tell you what news would be: if Jesse Jackson said that Jews are nice people or if Al Sharpton did not play the race card every time some lowlife black thug got what he deserved; that would be news. But that some Liberal, and especially some black Liberal said, "for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country." Who is surprised with that sentiment?
Very few Liberals are proud of their country my friends, get over it. That they hate this country is not important. That they are ashamed to be Americans is not important.
The MSM will of course forgive Michelle her seditious utterances and ignore the whole affair (1) altogether and declare it unimportant, but that's because they know there is no news there. A Liberal was never proud of her country before, ever; so what, who's surprised?
What we should really be worrying about is not their traitorous feelings toward our country but rather the actual danger they present to our culture and our way of life. Just noting that they make unpatriotic remarks and letting it drop there does nothing. We have to focus on the big picture, on what they really want: the destruction of the Capitalist economic and political system of America.
By the way, I am sure everyone is asking it now, why wasn't she proud when her husband became Senator? You can never satisfy some people. Unless they begin at the top, they're never happy starting from the bottom.

NewsBusters, ABC Spikes Michelle Obama's Gaffe, Then Declares It Unimportant!
ABC's World News, which on Tuesday skipped Michelle Obama's comment that “for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” on Wednesday finally got to it, but only minimally as George Stephanopoulos praised her “good damage control” and declared: “I don't think it's going to be a huge deal.” Hard for it to become “a huge deal” when a broadcast network's most-watched news program doesn't bother to report it.
