On What Should you Spend your 2008 IRS Tax Rebate Checks
Starting May 2, some 130 million U.S. families and individuals will be getting $300 tax rebate checks from the Internal Revenue Service as part of the Economic Stimulus package. Let me start off by informing you that you will not have to pay taxes on the rebate income.
In order to stimulate the US economy, it is important that you consider how you spend that money: Now, if you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all of it will go to China, if you spend it on computers, most will go to Korea or India. If you spend it on gasoline it'll go to the Arabs or that whack job running Venezuela. None of these scenarios will help the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America. So the only way to keep that money here at home is to drink beer, gamble, or spend it on prostitution. Currently it seems that these are the only businesses still left in the U.S.
