No Women are Abused or Raped under Islam
By Bernie on 27 Aug 2008
In the video above this young, stupid, obviously liberal idiot who converted to Islam disbelieves any stories of rapes or abuse of women by Muslims because "Islam does not support abusing or hitting wives" and that "there is a passage in there [the Quran] that says not to do any of that stuff."
Well, that certainly should settle the whole matter of rapes and abuse under Islam!
This imbecile was responding to a video that aired on Al Jazeera of Sabreen al-Janabi, a Sunni woman in Iraq, who claimed to have been beaten and raped by Shia members of the Iraqi Security Forces at the local police station on February 18, 2007. The Iraqi government disputes her claims.
Our Muslim convert asks how could this woman know that her rapists were Shiites. Perhaps if she lived in Iraq she would know that the Iraqi police force is composed almost entirely of Shiites. I'm certain that if I were abused by my local police department I would know who they were.
Americans do not know the risk this woman took in going public with her rape. Her male relatives might honor kill her, her community will shun her or worse, this might ignite mutual revenge killings among the sects. This is not like an American woman seeking 15 minutes of fame by accusing a basketball star of rape. In Iraq, as in most Muslim countries, there are grave consequences for rape - for the woman.
But if you ever wonder how it is possible that 20,000 idiots a year convert to Islam just listen to this typical representative of one of those converts.
This is the kind of girl that one day when she is being raped by Muslims will ask, "You are not raping me are you? I hope you are not, but if you are I hope you are not Muslims, because, you know, that is forbidden in the Quran."
