Morgan Freeman should play Booker T Washington

Show the above photo to some friends and ask them to name the American actor; they should easily identify Morgan Freeman. However this is actually Booker T Washington. Is the resemblance startling or what?
Although there are dozens of documentary films about his life I'm surprised that a major Hollywood film has not been made. If it ever were, Morgan Freeman would be perfect for the role.
I admire the Oscar-winning actor greatly. Aside from his great acting skills, his voice alone is enough to carry an entire film (The Shawshank Redemption). He is also not a whites-owe-us-a-living whiner; Morgan Freeman said on CBS' 60 Minutes that it's "ridiculous" to relegate one month to black history and that the practice should be abolished [FreeRepublic].
