Roy Pearson Presses Suit Heads back to Court

Just like cockroaches that you can't get rid of, former Judge and present-day idiot Roy Pearson is heading back to court. A three-judge appellate court panel has agreed to hear an appeal of the case next month, more than a year after a judge ruled against him.

Last year Pearson sued a dry cleaners for $54 million for losing his pants. After he lost the case, he was not reappointed after his term expired as an administrative law judge in the District of Columbia.

Then in May of this year he sued the city government to get his job back because of "unlawful demotion and subsequent termination." Hopefully he will lose here as well.

As for the appeal on the original case, even if Pearson loses with the three-judge panel, he will still be able to appeal to the entire appeals court, and although in normal cases that rarely happens, Pearson is the kind of moron with enough legal skills to take it there and beyond, even to the Supreme Court.

[via video:] “Now, a year later, we have a new mountain forming [pointing to a high stack of legal papers] all in relation to one pair of pants,” said Chris Manning, the Chungs’ attorney. “We are hoping that we are victorious in appeal, but the important thing to take away is that no one wins, everyone loses in a case like this.”

Here are the details of this newest wrinkle in his suit: the D.C. Court of Appeals lists the following details for its October calendar where Pearson will make oral argument challenging the Superior Court’s dismissal of his lawsuit against the drycleaners, the Chungs.

There are certain suits the Supreme Court should not hear. This is really pressing it.
