Citizens of Italy in Favor of Obama

It's obvious that most Europeans would love to see Obama as our President. What's not to love? America has been lording it over the rest of the world for the past century, saving their asses in two world wars, shoving our levis and movies and McDonalds and Cokes down their throats, even forcing the French to use American English in the coque-peet of their own airplanes. And certainly socialist or even communist is not a dirty word over there.
Wouldn't it be great for Europe if America came down a peg or two? If it lost some of its mighty military powers? If it would just appease some of the so-called "evil-doers" and lessen the tensions in the world?

Italians are thoroughly impressed with OBAMA, especially his confidence, speaking abilities, and promises. They are pleased that he would like to speak with world leaders, even dictators and the so-called evil-doers.
It seems in Europe that stupidity, ingratitude, and the urge to appease rises every generation despite world wars that should have taught them a lesson.
The Annotico Report concludes, "The Italians can have all the opinions they'd like, but they don't get to vote in the American election. It will be the American people who decide the country's - and some would argue the world's - fate."
Actually that's not quite true. If Obama's campaign thought the election was too close they could simply send some ACORN volunteers to Italy and register some more voters for Obama.
