Ian Welsh, contributing to AllVoices asks, "If the US can bomb Pakistan whenever it feels like by using the justification of terrorism, why can't India?" and worries that there is "nothing more likely to either cause a war or cause Pakistan to implode than India bombing inside its territory. The long history of distrust between the two countries would make this the equivalent of Russia bombing a terrorist camp in the US."

The idea of Russia bombing in the US is meant to convince you that the Bush Doctrine is bad policy especially that portion that holds that the United States can and should attack any foreign regime that represented a potential or perceived threat to the security of the United States. So do I think Russia has a right to attack the US if we allowed a terrorist organization to have a base of operations from which attacks against Russia were organized, planned and executed? Absolutely yes.

If a group of terrorists took over a small town in Tennessee for training, storing of weapons, etc. and used the base to launch attacks against Russia and they kindly asked us to close down that base and we refused or were unable to fulfill that request, then yes, Russia would be completely justified in bombing that base.

Ian is the kind of moral idiot that would demand that India not bomb Pakistan for fear that a war would start. Hey Ian, Newsflash: Pakistan and India are already at War and have been for more than 60 years. In Kashmir alone more than 47,000 people have died. We invaded Afghanistan, and rightly so, for the sake of less than 3,000 souls. Refusing to bomb an enemy for fear of starting a war, in the end cost the world tens of millions of lives back in the 1930s. Those living in Kashmir are not as stupid or afraid as anti-war imbeciles:

Intl Herald Tribune, 2 Dec 2008, Fear grows in Kashmir in aftermath of Mumbai attacks

"For the past 60 years we have been living in constant trouble and fear," said Basharat Qadri, a government employee. "Let there be a war, a decisive one, so that future generations live in peace."

If the U.S. Can Bomb Pakistan, Why Can't India? I say go for it. Every day that India does not act, there are more Muslims being born than Hindus, in both countries. The reason is simple of course: women in the developed world are more educated, have more freedom, and find that getting married (and having children) is not as important as in the rest of the world. Women in Islam are just like women in the 7th century Arabia, baby producing factories for their husbands.

India in the past few decades of becoming a developed nation has had a steady decline in fertility [UN Population PDF]. But this decline hides the fact that while Hindus are not replacing themselves, Muslims, on the other hand, are replacing themselves with a vengeance: "We found that Muslims are much more likely than Hindus to intend to have additional children and, among those who do not want more children, Muslims are much less likely than Hindus to use contraceptives." [Allbusiness]

Pakistan today has 164 million Muslims. India, with 13.4% of its population Muslim, has 154 million, the third largest Muslim population the world. The longer it waits, the more likely it will be that the enemy it has to attack will be within its own borders. India has hundreds of terror attacks every year precisely because it allows Muslims to live in India, thus it has to fight on two fronts: the one in Pakistan and the one within its borders. India has to utterly destroy Pakistan before its own people make that a future impossibility.

Observant Americans who see India's problems with its Muslims will wisely, hopefully urge their Congressmen to stop allowing Muslims to come here, and to make plans to deport those already here. I have no doubt that most Muslims living in America have no desire or wish to harm this country, but the danger of Islam is that extremists can only operate when there are enough Muslims in an area to hide or shield their activities. Abdul the terrorist is easier to capture if he is the only Abdul in town.
