After exchanging letters, Brown flew there for a reunion. In my article, Why There can be No Truce with Hamas, I reported on the Christmas Truce of 1914: That Germans and British troops decided to stop killing each other and sing Chrsitmas songs, but that this was not possible with Muslims:

Certainly one can imagine Israelis meeting with a civilized enemy and exchanging cigarettes and gifts during a truce. But the enemy and the Islamic threat the western world now faces has no regard for human life, decency, or the rules of engagement. We are not in a clash of civilizations: we are in a clash of the civilized with the uncivilized.

Last week the Taliban were begging for a truce ¹ with the Pakistani Army, The Daily Gut reminds us that in war one cannot deal with fanatic whackos except by killing them ². All of them.

Truce, to civilized peoples, means that both sides wish to stop the killing and perhaps find a negotiated solution. Truce, to uncivilized peoples, and by uncivilized peoples I mean Muslims, means buying time to rebuild until the next assault.

As a Jew who lost almost his entire family to the Nazis, it pains me to say so but compared to Muslims, the Nazis were civilized and that, my dear readers, is the only difference between Nazis and Muslims. No sane person would ever wave a white flag to a Muslim enemy.

Anyone mildly aware of history knows that truces mean nothing to people consumed by fanatic ideology. As a resident fool, I'm willing to suggest it's the very unwillingness to compromise that makes them fanatics! (And vice versa.) The Taliban, for example, want their Sharia law, along with their unmanageable beards, their institutionalized abuse of women and gays, their barbaric notions of justice – and nothing is ever going to shake this twisted grim world view from their lice infested heads.

Well, there is one way.
