An Excuse Why Muslims Cannot Win Nobel Prizes
In response to my article Muslim Inventions - Nobel Prizes, I often come across comments that try to explain the paucity of Muslim Nobel Laureates compared to Jews. If you don't know, it's 1 Muslim to 57 Jews, despite the fact that Muslims outnumber Jews almost 80 to 1.
Here's a typical Muslim complaint from Omar Elahi found in the comment section of that article:
Dear Jew,
congratulations on your angled article. Now of all the jews you have mentioned how many are from developing nations that were either colonized and or have an efficient system of education. How many jews are from the west or Israel? How many jews are not from the west or Israel? Are we to believe that Jews not living in the west or Israel are complete and utter idiots. Moses never won a Nobel prize for science. Was he an idiot? Were the jews who lived before the prize was given out idiots because they had not won it? Islamic history is rich in academics. You and I know it my angled friend.
your topic and conclusion is a joke. The Nobel prize is given for political reasons and this fact is epitomized by the fact that Obama won it. Over whelmingly it has been given to people from the west. China received one prize in 1957 and then started receiving them in the 1990s. Are we to believe Chinese before that were no good. Give it time my Jewish friend. As the muslim world becomes more stable and richer over time jew you'll find more muslims getting this bullshit prize.
In regard to the Nobel Prize being political here is my answer:
Dear Omar,
You confuse Nobel Peace Prizes which everyone knows is strictly a political thing and the Scientific Nobel Prizes which are impossible to get for political reasons. Name one single Nobel Prize in Physics or Chemistry or Medicine where the recipient did not deserve it for great scientific accomplishment except for political reasons and I will shut down my blog. I dare you.
In regard to the Nobel Prize being won by Jews in advanced western countries, here is my answer:

I would like to point out that many Jews who won Nobel Prizes were from countries where Muslims outnumber the Jews sometimes as much as tens of thousands to one or more.
In 1997 when Claude Cohen-Tannoudji (Algerian Jew) won the Nobel Prize in Physics there were millions of Muslims to a few thousand Jews. Yet no Muslim from Algeria ever won anything.
When Lev Landau an Azerbiajanian Jew won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1962, there were millions of Muslims, but only a few thousand Jews living in Azerbaijan. Yet no Muslim from Azarbaijan ever won anything.
Jews born in just Muslim countries alone have won more intellectual Nobel Prizes than Muslims born anywhere in the world.
More scientific Nobel Prizes were won by Israelis than by Muslims. That is, Jews from tiny Israel smack in the middle of the Middle East.
So what were you whining that Jews were winning because they had the advantage of living or growing up in western countries?
See, this is the real problem with Muslims. They look for excuses and just make shit up without doing any research at all. Very, very sad, Omar - you'll never win a Nobel Prize by whining.
