Muslims Cannot Be Criticized
There exist Muslims who in their heart truly, actually, really and incredibly believe a number of Islamic myths. Quite a number of them read this blog and respond in comments that I am wrong when I accuse Muslims of certain horrible practices. Most of these Muslims are delusional for the same reason that most westerners are delusional about Islam: they were taught in school that Islam is a genuine religion and that it is a religion of peace and tolerance. In truth, Islam is a political ideology no different than Nazism and is about as peaceful and tolerant as the Nazis were themselves.
Take for example a comment from reader Amar in response to my article We should respect the eating habits of every religion or culture:

As someone of both Arab/Muslim (Father) and Western/Christian (Mother) background, and who has grown up in both parts of the world, I think it's important we clarify a few things that most of you don't seem to know.
1. Saudi Arabia does not represent the Muslim world. It is a non-secular country that suscribes to a an extremist interpretation of Islam called "Wahhabism". I'm not going to go into statistics, but if you do the research, you'll discover that this is a TINY percentage of the Muslim world (1.5 billion). It's like saying that all Christians are born-again pentacostals (no offense to pentacostals).
2. As far as I know, pork is only illegal in Saudi Arabia. Where I grew up, (Bahrain and United Arab Emirates), you may buy pork in a designated section in supermarkets. Islam IS tolerant of other religions, particularly Christianity and Judaism, and any person or state that acts otherwise is not representing Islam.
Saudi Arabia does not represent the Muslim world
Well, Amar, let me clarify a few things for you: Yes, it is true that Saudi Arabia represents less than 1.8% of the world's Muslim population, but that does not prohibit me from attacking Muslim practices there. Let me explain why.
When I criticize Muslims for thousands of honor killings each year in Pakistan [see my article], some moron just like you will write, "Pakistan does not represent the Muslim world. If you do the research, you'll discover that this is a tiny percentage (11.7%) of the Muslim world."
When I criticize the hanging of homosexuals in Iran [see my article], some moron just like you will write, "Iran does not represent the Muslim world. If you do the research, you'll discover that this is a tiny percentage (4.4%) of the Muslim world."
When I criticize Muslim men in Bangladesh for throwing acid at any woman who has the nerve to ask for a divorce [see my article], some moron just like you will write, "Bangladesh does not represent the Muslim world. If you do the research, you'll discover that this is a tiny percentage (10.4%) of the Muslim world."
When I criticize Muslim men in Yemen for forcing girls as young as nine years old to marry them [see my article], some moron just like you will write, "Yemen does not represent the Muslim world. If you do the research, you'll discover that this is a tiny percentage (1.6%) of the Muslim world."
When I warn my readers not to go to Turkey on vacation because Muslims like to rape white infidel women [see my article], some moron just like you will write, "Turkey does not represent the Muslim world. If you do the research, you'll discover that this is a tiny percentage (5.0%) of the Muslim world."
OK, I get it - you are saying that I cannot criticize the actions of Muslims in Muslim countries because no Muslim country represents 100% of all Muslims.
pork is only illegal in Saudi Arabia
You don't get around much, do you, Amar? Pork is illegal in all Muslim countries that have shariah law. In certain Muslim countries without Shariah law that have large Christian populations like Egypt, the government has not yet prohibited Christians from eating pork, but eventually they will. In fact, Muslim lobbyists have already forced the United States military to impose a ban on military families from sending of pork or pork products to military personnel in the entire Middle East [see US Post Office Restrictions on Overseas Military Mail - Item H1].
Islam IS tolerant of other religions

Saudis are Wahhabis
According to you - I cannot criticize other Muslims for what Wahhabis do. I suppose then, I cannot criticize other Muslims for what Sunnis do or I cannot criticize other Muslims for what the Shia do.
If Arab Muslims are responsible for the genocide in Darfur, I cannot criticize Muslims because this is a cultural thing among Arabs and besides Muslim Arabs only represent 15% of all Muslims.
If the Muslim Taliban shoot women in the head for not wearing a veil, I cannot criticize Muslims because this is a cultural thing among the Pashtun and besides Pashtuns of Afghanistan only represent 0.75% of all Muslims.
If an Iranian Muslim rapes a young virgin so she can be executed [see my article], I cannot say anything bad about the Islamic Law that allows this because Iranians are not Arabs, Iranian Muslims are Shia and not Sunni, and Shia represent only a small part of Islam (7.58% Islamic Web)
I get it. I cannot criticize Muslims at all.
