Israel Takes the Fun out of Shooting Down Planes
There are certain kinds of ignorant, petty, cruel people in the world, the ones who tie firecrackers to frogs to see them explode, the ones who tear the wings off flies to see them suffer, and the ones who blow up buses filled with Israeli children because it is a joy in life to see Jews die.
Israel's air force took the fun out of shooting down Israeli planes because there will be no Jews on board; today they introduced a fleet of pilotless planes (1) that can fly as far as the Persian Gulf, well within the range of Iran.
The plane's maker, I.A.I. (state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries), one of Israel's biggest exporters, is known for its technological prowess. Here we see Israel spending hundreds of millions of dollars in the pursuit of saving the life of even one Jewish pilot.
Iran, on the other hand, is known for its complete disregard of thousands of Iranian children who were used as human mine detectors. During the Iran/Iraq war in the 80's, Iran gave "Passports to Paradise" to adolescents who cleared mine fields by running across them. They were promised that by detecting a mine with their bodies, their souls would automatically go to heaven (2). Ah, Muslim science at its highest.

ABCNews, Israel Unveils New Drone Fleet That Can Reach Iran
Israel's air force on Sunday introduced a fleet of huge pilotless planes that can remain in the air for a full day and fly as far as the Persian Gulf, putting rival Iran within its range.
The Heron TP drones have a wingspan of 86 feet (26 meters), making them the size of Boeing 737 passenger jets and the largest unmanned aircraft in Israel's military. The planes can fly at least 20 consecutive hours and are primarily used for surveillance and carrying diverse payloads.

Israeli officials refused to say how large the new fleet is or whether the planes were designed for use against Iran, but stressed it was versatile and could adapt to new missions. The plane's maker, state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries, has said it is capable of reaching the Persian Gulf, which would put Iran within its range.

Israel believes Tehran is trying to develop nuclear weapons and has repeatedly hinted it could strike Iran if diplomatic efforts to curb the nuclear program fail.

Third World Traveler, The Invisible Soldiers: Child Combatants
Some are persuaded to join by propaganda and religious fervor. For example, the marching chant of a column of 16,000 Iranian children on their way to the front during the war with Iraq war "Come on, come on, plunge on. Those who step on mines will go to paradise." It is said those children were sent across minefields ahead of more valuable, trained adult soldiers.
A tip of the turban to reader Dan F. for the story.
