The Robot Bartender

I got the following email a few years ago and got it again just today with a minor change in the punch line.

A popular bar had a new robotic bartender installed. A man enters and orders a martini. The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, and then asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds to make conversation about quantum physics, string theory, and advanced medical technology.

The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." He decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"

This time the guy responds, "100."

Immediately the robot starts talking about football, NASCAR, Budweiser and John Deere tractors.

Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He goes back in, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "uh ... 50."

The robot leans in real close and slowly says, "So... you people still happy you voted for Obama?"

As an added treat for my readers, here's my version of the ending:

...

Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He goes back in, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "uh ... 50."

The robot leans in real close and slowly says, "Sorry I am not programmed to speak Arabic."

And yes, there really is a bartender robot, see the video of the Asahi Beer Robot here.
