I Gotta Buy this Yacht
By Bernie on 21 Mar 2010
I am not a boat person, I don't mind cruises, however I could never take being on the sea for more than a week.
Notwithstanding that, if I were forced to buy a boat, I wouldn't mind owning the Wally-Hermes Yacht pictured above. The yacht covers an area of 3400 square meters (roughly the size of a 36 apartment building).
It hosts three decks, a 25 meter pool, a spa, helicopter pad, sauna, gym and massage room, a 130 meter promenade, music room, dining room, cinema, sun decks, suites, terraces, lounge, and more.
The roof and sides of the vessel are covered with solar panels intended to save at least 200 tons of diesel fuel a year. As well, the waste management system capable of holding both organic and inorganic waste.
Here's the spacious lounge:
The rest of the photos can be seen here.
If you feel like ordering your own floating island, the Wally-Hermes Yacht (WHY) website is here. And yes, the Hermes in the name is French luxury clothing designer Hermes.
A tip of the turban to within the crainium.
Disclaimer: Sadly, if you do buy a yacht from WHY (for about 90 million British pounds) through my blog, I do not receive any commission.

Anyone may republish this article for non-commercial use without asking my permission. I make it easy, see details here.
