When one is forced to do something against one's will, especially by an older adult, the phrase often used is, "You will do it whether you like it or not."

And today, us children heard from our Daddy Obama at the "Nuclear Security Summit" news conference (1) uttering the following pronunciamento: "whether we like it or not, we [America] remain a dominant military superpower..."

I never in my life imagined that some mysterious force would cause us to remain a dominant military superpower, "Whether we like it or not."

Actually, that's not true. I'm sure Obama doesn't like it and is intent on changing that.

By the time 2012 rolls around, we may no longer be a dominant military superpower, or even a dominant anything. Being a superpower is like having a terrific rash, something we must get rid of. Now that's Change the Russians, the Chinese and the Muslims can believe in.

Is there anyone more ashamed of his country than this person we elected President?
