Former Congressman Joe Scarborough, hosting his “Morning Joe” show on MSNBC this morning criticized Newt Gingrich for comparing the Ground Zero Mosque To a ‘Nazi Sign Next To the Holocaust Museum.’ (1) An apt comparison in my opinion.
I am amazed at how seemingly intelligent people continue to believe that Islam is a religion - it is not and never was a religion. Hey, Joe, you idiot, this is a political issue - nothing to do with religion.
And anyway, is there no plot of land anywhere else in the whole city of New York to put this center?

The folks who want to build this mosque, who are really radical Islamists, who want to triumphfully (sic) prove they can build a mosque next to a place where 3,000 Americans were killed by radical Islamists.
