Got Rational Fears? Then You Need a psychiatrist

Vivian Schiller, the CEO of NPR, is an idiot. When Juan Williams voiced personal feelings about sitting on an airplane with passengers in Muslim garb, he was saying exactly what the overwhelming majority of sane Americans would say. Idiot Schiller implied that Williams should see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings (1). OK, let us apply the same logic to other groups of people.

  • You are a Jew sitting in a cafe in Munich, Germany and a group of skinheads with swastikas carved onto their foreheads sit down in the table next to you, if you get worried, if you get nervous, then you need to see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings, you paranoid, racist bigot.
  • You are a young woman waiting for a bus late at night, and a group of playful young men sporting the marks of a local gang surround you (see photo above), if you get worried, if you get nervous, then you need to see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings, you paranoid, racist bigot.
  • You are a DEA agent working undercover in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico enjoying a bottle of serveza when 6 heavily armed men come in and sit down next to you, if you get worried, if you get nervous, then you need to see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings, you paranoid, racist bigot.

How about I post your address on the Internet, Ms Schiller, and ask people to visit you? Would that make you worried, would that make you nervous, if so, then you need to see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings, you stupid, dhimmi bitch.

Update:

The Two-Way : NPR, NPR CEO Apologizes For 'Psychiatrist' Remark

NPR CEO Vivian Schiller just released this statement:

“I spoke hastily and I apologize to Juan and others for my thoughtless remark.”

Well, if she thinks it is right and proper that Juan Williams lose his job for a thoughtless remark...

Pajamas Media, Proposal: The Juan Williams Law

A national outcry has arisen from the firing of Juan Williams by National Public Radio. Many have been outraged by what they see as the network’s un-American restriction on Williams’ freedom of speech when Williams was merely voicing personal feelings about sitting on an airplane with passengers in Muslim garb. Matters were made worse by NPR CEO Vivian Schiller implying that Williams should see a psychiatrist to deal with those feelings. And further complicated by the revelation that the ultra-liberal George Soros had donated $1.8 million to the putatively ideologically neutral, publicly-financed, news organization.
