When is it Patriotic To Keep Our Mouths Shut?
I have had this photo of then-Senator Hillary Clinton since February 2006 along with this headline from a Huffington Post article: "Since When Has It Been Part Of American Patriotism To Keep Our Mouths Shut?" (1) waiting for inspiration for an article to wrap around both of them.
I have accumulated over 500 drafts of articles over the past 57 months and so I decided this morning to start doing some house cleaning. Just when I was about to hit the delete button, it came to me what I could add to make this publish-worthy:
We can assume Mrs Clinton never gave this advice to Monica Lewinsky.
I know it's not much, but it struck me funny.

Huffington Post, Hillary Clinton: "Since When Has It Been Part Of American Patriotism To Keep Our Mouths Shut?"...
Ignoring GOP criticism that she’s too angry for prime time, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton Wednesday walloped Karl Rove and President George W. Bush for “playing the fear card” on terrorism and for failing to kill “the tallest man in Afghanistan,” Osama bin Laden.
Clinton exhorted Democrats to challenge the administration on Iraq, Afghanistan and the war on terror, while seeming to bemoan the failure of former Democratic presidential candidates John Kerry and Al Gore to overcome claims that they were soft on defense.
