I Make a Bet About the Quran
I have been arguing about Islam with Brian, a friend of mine who happens to be a Liberal Jew, for some time. He simply refuses to believe that it is a cult of death and barbarity. Like most clueless Americans who have never read the Qur'an, he thinks Islam is a religion.
Finally I was able to persuade him to read the Qur'an by making a bet.
I bet him one hundred dollars that after reading the Qur'an he would be convinced that it is an evil military handbook which requires as a basic tenet of faith that its followers kill, subjugate or enslave those who refuse to submit to Islam. I said that the Qur'an makes those who read it into fanatical, Crusader-despising, Jew-hating, violent thugs.
When he asked why 1.5 billion Muslims are not fanatical, Crusader-despising, Jew-hating, violent thugs, I pointed out that 98% of Muslims do not live in countries where there are any Jews and 95% do not live in America or Europe [read Why Most Muslims Are Not Terrorists Yet] where most Christians live.
In addition, most Muslims (85%) don't understand Arabic and so even if they recite the Qur'an or pray, they haven't a clue that they are supposed to kill or convert infidels, that is, they don't know what they are reciting.
Also, there are hundreds of millions of Muslims who can't read at all. For example, in some of the most populous Muslim countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, barely over half the population is literate [Wiki].
So the bet was that if he found the Qur'an to be in fact preaching tolerance and peace, I would pay him one hundred dollars. If I were right, that it is indeed a book preaching hatred, butchery, intolerance, enslavement, subjugation and murder of infidels, he need pay me only ten dollars.
A week later I saw him on the street. Since I knew what was in the Qur'an I said, smirking, "So Brian, I believe you owe me ten dollars, right?"
Brian responded, "That's just like you f*cken Jews, all you can think about is money and spreading mischief throughout the world."
Yeah, I knew then that he had actually read the Qur'an.
Disclaimer: I really don't have Liberal Jews as friends. And although this was written in jest, there are many Liberal Jews who hate Israel and love Palestinians because they were taught to always favor the underdog. They defend Islam because they think that we should be tolerant of every ideology, even though very few Jews have actually read the Qur'an.
I suspect that if we were able to transport these idiot Jews back to 1945, they would be rooting for the Nazis simply because they were losing the war against the aggressor Americans. That's how f*cked up they are. That's what happens to Jews when they become Liberals. They become idiots.
