What I Want on my Tombstone
By Bernie on 03 Dec 2010
When Islam came along, the pagan Arabs were worshiping statues and stones. Now Muslims only worship this big black rock in Mecca. Well, actually they don't worship the rock, but they sure would be upset if we nuked it.
Painting of some humans and animals is allowed but not of Allah or His Prophet Mohammed. As long as the work does not throw a shadow, that is, as long as it is not a statue, human beings can be depicted in art. Some exceptions are made for things created and which appear in Museums which are of a touristy nature. Despite that, there is the possibility that some time in the future, when Islamic extremists take over Egypt, that all the mummies and other artifacts in Egyptian museums may be destroyed. Read 13 Things Egyptian your grandchildren will never see.
Although ancient works of art may be temporarily permitted, when Islam comes to dominate western civilization, then all the beauty of the world in paintings and statues, in music and poetry, in all the art of the type that flourishes now, all those things will come to an end.
Which brings me to my tombstone.
I want a statue of a naked woman lying on top of me for the rest of eternity. Now you may ask, why would I want a statue of a naked woman on top of my tombstone? Quite simple actually, because I don't think a real live naked woman could take lying on a cold tombstone for too long.
So here I blog against the Islamization of the western world for a simple petty reason. I know what Muslims will do once they come here in sufficient numbers. They will destroy my tombstone statue just as the Taliban destroyed the Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan.
They will do what they did to the great civilization of India, once one of the most scientific and innovative of ancient cultures. They will do what they did to the great civilization of Persia, once one of the most creative and artistic of ancient cultures. After centuries of Islamic rule, Pakistan (once part of India) and Iran are now the most backward countries of the world. I describe the dismal scientific situation in Pakistan and Iran in my article How Many Muslims have won Nobel Prizes, anyway?
I would like my tombstone to remain undisturbed for a few centuries at least. Keeping Muslims out of western countries will insure that beauty and art remain undisturbed as well.
