Snow in My Backyard January 2011
By Bernie on 15 Jan 2011
Although all the roads are pretty clear here in my hometown (Bayonne, NJ), my backyard still has a foot or so of snow. This is the view from my den window on the second floor, the room from which springs forth coruscating insight and wit and which I harness and place in my blog for the enjoyment and pleasure of my readers.
When I was very young I thought the whole world enjoyed four seasons. It seemed natural that life was sliced like an apple into four quarters. First very cold, then pleasantly warm, then very hot, then refreshingly cool. It wasn't until geography class that I learned that there are unfortunate souls who are always cold or always hot.
Perhaps if they had snow in Saudi Arabia from time to time they wouldn't have that typical unpleasant, unhappy bile-faced look they always have. I know, I know, I always seem to say something unnice about the Saudis.
Well, back to my backyard. Here is the same scene from the same window but last summer: a birthday party for my granddaughter who turned 10.
Think about it: it was hot only a few months ago and now it's freezing. Do we need any further proof of Global Cooling? Or am I using the same incisive, convincing, and forceful evidence as liberal idiots do for Global Warming?
