Video - The Truth About Independent Front Suspension
Quite a few of my readers complain that in too many of my articles I am obsessed with Muslims; to get a life, isn't there something else I can write about?
Actually only 810 of my 2179 articles (here is the list) are about Muslims. In this article, for example, I help to explain with the aid of an audio-visual technique the principle of Independent Front Suspension. However, proceed with caution, in some Muslim work places this 31 second video may be NSFW.
If you are considering a Nissan Pathfinder or any other car with an 'independent front suspension', this little commercial should prove to be helpful in understanding the concept before making your purchasing decision.
An 'independent front suspension' system, is when one front wheel of a vehicle hits a bump or pothole, it will move up or down to compensate while the other wheel remains steady. Both wheels are independent of each other, and hence the expression.
Watch the attached video, a German commercial for the Nissan Pathfinder, to find out exactly how this works. This gives a moving experience which should benefit your understanding of this piece of engineering.
It's arguably the best explanation I've ever seen. (The Germans obviously have better ads than we do)
