Girls Roc and a Yellow Snake
For some strange reason I have a number of articles in a category called Snakes and Women. It started innocently enough, with a photo of Devon Aoki draped solely with an albino Burmese python in order to lure Muslim readers to my website.
So to my pleasant surprise this morning I find what looks like the same yellow snake in a UK Mail Online story about a dance troupe that was too sexy hot for family television during their appearance on Britain's Got Talent.
UK Daily Mail Online, 7 Jun 2011,'We're sexy and confident... we would have sailed through in America!' BGT semi-finalists Girls Roc strip off in sizzling shoot
They were criticised for being too risque for family television during their stint on Britain's Got Talent, but dance troupe Girls Roc may find a more receptive audience in the readers of Zoo magazine. The group, who raised eyebrows with their sizzling routines during the competition, have stripped off for a sexy photoshoot.
...
The group believe their sex appeal and confidence held them back in the competition.
Group leader Nicola Wells tells the magazine: 'People love a sob story and we aren’t that. We are sexy and confident. In America, we’d have sailed through.'
Girls Roc received some backlash when they first appeared at the Manchester auditions. the girls performed in skimpy leotards for their act, in which they performed fire-breathing stunts and gyrated with pythons.
