In my article The Difference between Islam and Western Civilization I wrote: "The more a country appreciates burgers, BBQs, beer and boobs, the more civilized it is."
I now believe there may be hope for China. The city of Qingdao in east China has been hosting an annual beer festival for more than two decades. In the photo above we see German tourists enjoying themselves at the 21st International Beer Festival at the beer city in Qingdao, east China's Shandong province. The festival is a 16-day event in which more than 200 kinds of beers spread over 20 well-known brands are presented to beer lovers.
The city entertained more than 4 million visitors who enjoyed burgers, barbeques, opera, dance, magic, and fashion shows while guzzling down over a thousand tons of beer.
The most expensive beer was a Czech import priced at 100 yuan ($16) a quart.
But let us not forget boobs - here we see the finalists of the 36th Miss Bikini International World Contest posing for a photo at a beach in Qingdao:
