I have written a number of articles (1) documenting the fact that, in general, blacks hate Asians. Indeed, there is no shortage of news articles (2), (3), (4), (5) reporting on vicious attacks against Asians by Blacks in almost every city in this country.

Now Marion Barry tells us how Blacks really feel about Asians in their community:

The Daily Times, 9 Apr 2012, Michelle Malkin: The left vs. Asian entrepreneurs

Barry told supporters in D.C.'s Ward 8: "We got to do something about these Asians coming in and opening up businesses and dirty shops. They ought to go." Once pushed out, Barry promised, he would replace the foreign invaders with "African-American business people." Barry then took to the social networking platform Twitter to expound on the perils of "dirty" Asian shops in his neighborhood.

Call me silly, but shouldn't "African-American business people" have opened up businesses on their own before the Asians "invaded?" The reason that Asians open up restaurants, delis, drug stores, and supermarkets is that they know how to run those businesses. Barry is dreaming if he thinks getting rid of Asians will magically put black entrepreneurs into those businesses. If there are any blacks who want to open up a business all they have to do is find a vacant store and start doing business. Are there no vacant stores in black areas?

One day Barry will get his wish when the Asians leave - but instead of black-owned restaurants, delis, and grocery shops, there will be vacant and abandoned restaurants, delis, and grocery shops. Consider the photo above of a Harlem Chinese restaurant; does it look like some black entrepreneur came in to take it over?

Post-Gazette, 30 Apr 2010, Our double standard on race: African-Americans attack Asians and the nation yawns

Since the 1970s, as Asians developed businesses in America's inner cities, African-Americans became the latest entry on their long list of tormenters. Across urban America, blacks accosted Asians with taunts of "Ching Chong," "Chow Mein" and other slurs. Most notoriously, a 1991 rap song by Ice Cube denounced "Oriental one-penny-counting" Korean shopkeepers. The Koreans were warned to "pay respect to the black fist" or "we'll burn your store right down to a crisp."

San Francisco Chronicle, 2 May 2010, Black attacks on Asians: racism or opportunity?

Rongshi Chen, 64, says he was violently robbed by two young black men in his Visitacion Valley neighborhood last fall.

...

He's not alone. At least four high-profile attacks involving blacks and Asians have occurred since January in San Francisco and Oakland, including the beating death of Tian Sheng Yu, 59, last month. Two 18-year-old men have been charged with murder.

Now Chen and his family have joined a chorus of voices in the Bay Area saying that the increasingly visible and deadly incidents of black-on-Asian violence are racially motivated.

Philadelphia Weekly, 1 Sep 2009, Asian Students Under Assault

Community organizers say 30 or more Asian were attacked Thursday, Dec. 3 at South Philadelphia High School. In September, PW's George Miller wrote this cover story about how Asian students are regularly targeted in Philadelphia schools.

...

Dozens of the alleged incidents are relatively minor—name-calling, verbal threats, petty robberies, random punches in the head while walking down stairwells, and general intimidation. But according to Chen, at least six times last school year those minor incidents escalated into massive rumbles where outnumbered Asian students were pummeled by packs of teens, sending several of the victims to hospitals. Like the day last October when a group of around 30 kids allegedly attacked five Chinese students after school in the Snyder Avenue subway station, one block from school. That incident started when a black student walked up to a Chinese kid in the cafeteria, touched his hair and allegedly threw a carton of milk at him. Rumors of threats filtered through the school on the day after the subway rumble, and the notion of continued violence froze Asian students.

YouTube, Racist Blacks are targeting Asian women for hate crimes in New York

At least five Asian women have been the victims of assaults in what the New York City Police Department is calling a hate crime spree.

All of the victims were attacked in lower Manhattan in and around the Baruch Houses. Surveillance video shows five teens entering the scene of one attack that happened on March 31 at the Gompers Houses at 90 Pitt Street. Two of the teens are female; three are male.

In the most recent incident, a 68-year-old woman was assaulted on Tuesday in front of 247 East Broadway at about 11 p.m.

Police say all of the victims have been Asian and between 50-71 years old.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is looking for the attackers. Robbery does not appear to be a motive in the assaults.
